The BECTU Western Freelance Branch is hosting its Autumn Branch meeting at  Premier Lounge, Ashton Gate Conference Centre, within Ashton Gate football ground, Bristol.

The event is being sponsored by

 They will be promoting the opening of their 24/7 drama dept hire section at the Bottle Yard.

They will be giving a seminar on the on solid state camera file formats and will have the Arri Alexa camera present. They will be bringing  some equipment for members to get some hands on time throughout the day and answer any questions.

The running order is as follows:

11.30 - 1200 registration

12.00 - 12.15 Welcome

12.15 - 13.15 Visual Impact presentation 

13.15 - 14.30 a working lunch and branch meeting

14.30 - 15.30 seminar by Peter Jennings (formally of Business Link) now South West Advisor Network Ltd. He will focus on how small businesses can face the challenges of the current economic climate. This would include advice and information on the low cost marketing and advertising opportunities on the internet and the pros and cons of networking. This will include a Q&A session.

15.30 - 16.30 Depending on demand  Visual Impact will give a Q&A session..

16.30 - 1700 Networking

This event is open to any BECTU member.

If you just want to come to the meeting then just pop a long for 13.15, there is no need to register if you don't want food or attend a seminar.
